About GuessBeat
Built for people who hear in playlists.
GuessBeat is a realtime multiplayer music quiz built for genuine music lovers. Short audio clips, fast rounds to guess the song, and just enough chaos to spark friendly arguments about who actually knows their tracks.
What is GuessBeat?
GuessBeat challenges you to identify songs from a short audio preview — before anyone else does. Each round plays a clip and gives you a set of choices. Pick the right title and artist to score points, with bonus marks for speed. The player with the sharpest ears wins.
You can play solo to train your ear, or invite friends to a shared room using a 4-letter code. Public rooms let anyone jump in and compete. Private rooms stay hidden until you share the code — perfect for game nights, parties, or casual music battles with your crew.
Shape your game
Before each match, you decide what you want to hear. Filter by era — from 70s classics to today's hits. Choose a genre, a mood, a region, or spotlight specific artists and albums you want the round to focus on. The more specific your filters, the more targeted the challenge.
GuessBeat pulls audio previews from across major music catalogs so every round feels fresh. Whether you're into hip-hop, indie, K-pop, jazz, or everything at once — GuessBeat has you covered.
Our goal
We built GuessBeat because music quizzes are one of the best social games out there, but they shouldn't require a playlist, a host with trivia knowledge, or any setup at all. Open a room, share a code, hit Start — that's it. We want every session to feel instant, fair, and genuinely fun whether you're playing alone at midnight or with ten people at a party.

Music sources & disclaimers
Short previews and track metadata come from third-party APIs and catalogs (including Spotify, Apple iTunes Search, Deezer, Jamendo, YouTube, and MusicBrainz). Recordings, compositions, and artwork remain the property of their rights holders. GuessBeat is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by those services. We provide short previews for gameplay only — not full-track downloads or redistribution outside the game. See Music previews & licensing and third-party music in our legal pages for details and takedown requests.

We may introduce limited display advertising through Google AdSense on editorial pages in the future. During site review and until advertising is enabled in production, no ad scripts or ad units are loaded on GuessBeat.
