This Privacy Policy explains how GuessBeat (the "Service", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you play the game, visit our site, or participate in leaderboards, streaks, or prize programs.
GuessBeat is operated by Asetral, an online software brand and distributed development team (you may also see us as Asetral Software or Asetral Studios on some platforms). In-game chat and room codes
Multiplayer rooms may include optional text chat. Messages are processed so we can deliver them to other players in the same room. Do not post personal data, unlawful material, or harassing content. We may store chat for a limited time for abuse prevention and service operation; we are not responsible for what other players write. Public rooms are visible in a lobby list — only enable "public" if you are comfortable with others seeing your room metadata (host display name, filters summary, player counts).
1. Information we collect
- Account and profile data. If you create an optional account, we may collect your display name, email address, and basic profile settings used for leaderboards, streaks, and rewards.
- Gameplay data. We may collect information about the rooms you join or host, your guesses, scores, streaks, and how you interact with different game modes.
- Contact and support data. If you contact us, we process the information you choose to share (for example, your name, email, and message).
- Subscription and marketing data. If you subscribe to updates, we collect your email address and your marketing preferences.
- Technical and usage data. Like most online services, we may collect log data, device information, approximate location (based on IP address), cookies, and similar technologies to keep the Service secure and improve performance. When we enable analytics, usage events (for example pages or screens viewed) may be processed by our analytics provider as described in our Cookies notice.
2. How we use information
- To operate, secure, and improve the Service and its game features.
- To create and maintain optional accounts, streaks, scoreboards, and prizes.
- To respond to support requests and feedback.
- To send you emails about new features, playlists, tournaments, and offers when you have subscribed or otherwise given any required consent. You can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us.

- Hosting and delivery (for example, Vercel for the website and our API hosting provider) to serve pages, APIs, and static assets.
- Realtime gameplay — our game servers process room codes, scores, optional in-room chat, and technical logs needed to run multiplayer sessions.
- Account storage — when you register, account data may be stored using Supabase or equivalent database hosting we configure for the Service.
- Google Analytics — Google LLC processes usage analytics under its own terms (see our Cookies notice).
- Formspree — contact form submissions are forwarded so we can receive your message by email.
- Google Forms — if you subscribe to updates, your email may be recorded in a Google Form we use to manage our mailing list.
We may also share information when required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public. We do not sell your personal data.
