These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of GuessBeat. GuessBeat is operated by Asetral, an online software brand and distributed development team. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
GuessBeat is an online music guessing game that lets you play alone or with friends, including multiplayer rooms, scoreboards, streaks, and prize or reward features that we may introduce from time to time. We may update or change features at any time.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally able to agree to these Terms in your jurisdiction to use the Service. Creating an account is optional; you can play as a guest, but some features (like persistent profiles, streaks, scoreboards, or prizes) may require an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account secure. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Acceptable use
- Use the Service only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes.
- Do not cheat, manipulate scores, or interfere with fair play for others.
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service or any underlying APIs.
- Do not upload or share illegal, infringing, harmful, or abusive content, or attempt to compromise the security of the Service or other users.
4. Intellectual property
We own or license all rights in and to the Service, including the game design, branding, code, and UI. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for personal entertainment in accordance with these Terms. 5. Leaderboards, streaks, and prizes
We may offer leaderboards, streak tracking, and prize programs. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or cancel such features at any time. We may disqualify users or adjust scores where we reasonably suspect cheating, abuse, or other violations of these Terms.
6. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that the Service will meet your expectations.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will be limited to the amount you paid us for the Service (if any) in the 12 months before the claim arose.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Asetral as operator of the Service, except where mandatory consumer protection or other non-waivable rules in your country of residence require otherwise. Nothing in these Terms limits your right to bring claims before the courts that have jurisdiction under applicable law.
9. Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may modify or discontinue parts of the Service at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms become effective means you accept them.
